
Minister P. Prasad and Ameer Vayalar Lead the Way at Friends Taekwondo academy
Cherthala, Kerala – A wave of enthusiasm swept through Cherthala as Friends Taekwondo
Academy proudly launched its Anniversary and Vacation Classes with a vibrant inaugural
ceremony that drew an enthusiastic crowd of students, parents, and community members.
The event was officially inaugurated by Sri. P. Prasad, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture,
Government of Kerala, who commended the academy’s role in youth development through
martial arts and discipline-based training.A spectacular highlight of the program was a SelfDefense Demonstration by the Shaurya Team – Star Command, under the District
Administration of Alappuzha. Their powerful showcase left the audience in awe, promoting
awareness about the significance of self-defense, especially among youth and women.
In his welcome address, Mr. Sudheesh Chandra Bose, Patron of the Academy,
acknowledged the presence of distinguished guests, students, and well-wishers. The event
witnessed the official unveiling of the Academy’s Anniversary Logo and the Stern
Training Program Brochure, signifying a bold step forward in structured martial arts
education.The occasion was further graced by Mr. Arun G., Inspector of Police, Cherthala,
and Mr. Gibin Babu, CEO of Gray Aiders and Deputy Commander of the Delta Task Force,
who expressed their support and appreciation for the academy’s mission.
A special segment of the event was dedicated to recognizing excellence—certificates,
mementos, and scholarships were awarded to outstanding students and supporters.
Delivering the vote of thanks, Mr. Ameer Vayalar, International Taekwondo Coach,
expressed deep gratitude to all who contributed to the event’s success and reiterated the
academy’s commitment to nurturing physically and mentally strong individuals through
Taekwondo.The inauguration marked a proud milestone for Friends Taekwondo Academy,
